Vanishing Lands: Glacial Waters paintings by Michelle Neifert. The exhibit features a series of large scale, multi-paneled paintings interpreting/demonstrating the before and after effects of five geographic locations with massive receding glacier change. James Balog and his climate change photography tam Extreme Ice Survey collaborated with Neifert, selecting the locations she depicts in her exhibit.
Nurtured by Nature/Whimsical Works by Patty Passick features an array of animal and landscape-themed works. “I paint animals with gratitude for all they give us and in celebration f the deep unspoken bond that is possible in our human-animal relationships,” explains Passick.
Identity – Paper Quilt Project. Kate Brandes is displaying two pieces of her work in progress. The public is invited to contribute by answering questions relating to the two pieces on display. Selected answers will be quilted into her final project.
