About Destination: Northampton County
Destination: Northampton County aims to celebrate inclusivity, diversity, and community by sharing the stories of those who settled here long ago as well as today. Destination makes these stories accessible for families and young people through hands-on learning and by encouraging inter-generational conversations.
Destination: Northampton County shares stories of people that left their homes for the chance at a better life in Northampton County, from the early 18th century up to the present day. These stories help deepen our understanding of what is means to build, and be part of, a community.
This exhibition was a collaborative effort with local community groups and individuals to tell a more complete story about Northampton County heritage.
