RE:find in Easton is very pleased to welcome glassblowers from the Banana Factory in Bethlehem for a show titled, “From the Furnace.”
The show features a brand new, large scale, collaborative installation titled, “Weird Fish.” The installation was designed and created as a collaborative work by hot glass students under the direction of ArtsQuest Glass Studio staff artist Dan Getz. It represents their interpretive vision of an ocean scape and the many life forms it supports. Development of the work employed a variety of glasswork techniques. Students involved include Hence Bollinger, Michele D’Amico, Diane Metzbach and Laurie Rudich. (The ArtsQuest Glass Studio is located in the Banana Factory at 25 W 3rd Street in Bethlehem PA.)
In addition to “Weird Fish,” other works featured will include sculptured glass, goblets, bowls, other installations, plus additional works by Glass Studio students. All work will be for sale.
This show runs through May 29.
