Red Cross staff and volunteers along with the Easton Fire Department will be canvassing the neighborhood surrounding the Central Fire Station at 11 North 6^th Street in Easton.  Working in teams, we will install smoke alarms in homes that need them and teach residents how to be prepared in case a fire breaks out in their home.  This effort is part of our Home Fire Preparedness Campaign which has the goal of reducing fire related injuries and deaths by 25% in five years – but we can’t do it alone.

We are looking for volunteers to help us!  No special skills are necessary – all training will be provided.   Adults and teens 16 and over are welcome.  Groups are encouraged to wear attire displaying their group’s logo.
