Burn, baby, burn! In this fun, new Mercantile Home Ec workshop you will learn the basics of candle making. 🙂 We will learn about different wax types, wicks, candle styles, and scent combination. Each participant will make 2 honeycomb beeswax taper candles and develop their own scent combination which will be mixed into a small soy wax container candle. Participants will bring this small container from home (glass or ceramic, 8 ounces or less) which will become their one of a kind candle. Teacups work great for this! An additional half pint can of each person’s signature scent combination soy candle will also be poured.
Additional pint and half pint containers of each participant’s signature scent will be available to purchase at the workshop.
