Stop in this Friday, have a glass of Christmas cheer, and meet three of our favorite artists!
SUSAN POWELL is an extraordinary beadwork jeweler. This southern New Jersey artist is constantly creating. Her stunning work is sure to please even the most discerning eye. Exquisite attention to detail; a sharp eye for color and a style that is distinctly her own, Sue never disappoints. If you’re looking for that “very special gift” for that “very special woman”, this is it!
DANIELE BALLERINI has been described as a “Renaissance Man”. Born in Florence, with roots in Italy, France and Germany, he speaks four languages! A retired architect, Dani collects music, writes short stories and cooks! Summers are spent in Florence painting! His watercolors are wonderful glimpses into Italian life and architecture. A masterful storyteller, he’ll be happy to tell you all about his paintings. Don’t miss them – or him!
JIM SCHOOF recently retired after 38 years as a high school Graphic Arts/Industrial Arts teacher. He introduced a traditional box guitar concept as a project into an adaptive class for children with special needs, and an Introduction to Technology class. The project encouraged him to combine his passion for guitars and woodworking to build traditional cigar box guitars. Little Creek Guitars was born, and now you can find this 1840 craft at JATC.
