The Lenape people – Native Americans who lived in the Easton and surrounding area – will be featured in a new novel by Gil Bean, entitled By the Breath of Their People. Bean’s introductory talk, “Walking an Old Path,” will focus on what inspired him to undertake the trilogy of novels, of which Breath is the first. The trilogy is unusual in that it is a hybrid – part historical, part contemporary. It will tell the stories of two people who live in the same area of the Delaware River Valley nearly three-hundred years apart. Following his talk, in which he will invite his audience to participate, he will hold a book-signing for Breath of Their People.

1pm | The talk is free with museum admission or a $5 donation
