 When boutique owners Carla Johnson and Rosemary Abdunafi swung open the doors of their trendy downtown boutique their aim was to create nothing less than “The Ultimate Fashion Shopping Experience” for women. Friends for over 29 years, this duo decided to make their similar childhood dreams a reality. Thus Eclectic Soul Boutique was born.
Carla has over 23 years of experience in the fashion industry. Her resume includes modeling, fashion buying and merchandising, and business management and retail sales to name a few. She has spent most of her working career on 7th Avenue in the heart of NYC. She has worked for names such as Liz Claiborne as a trim buyer, Fashion Photographer Karen McDonald as a Lighting Specialist and photography assistant and Diane Stevens as a Makeup Artist and countless others. In addition, Carla has spent the last several years running her own jewelry business as a fashion stylist, adorning women across the country with beautiful jewelry.
Rosemary has over 25 years experience in the fashion industry. Her journey began at an early age through an obsessed with fashion, style and beauty. She developed a name for herself as
a model not only in the United States, but in London and Paris as well. She has graced the editorial pages of Essence Magazine and countless other and worked as a showroom/fit production model for several well known fashion houses up and down New York’s 7th Avenue. In effort to share the wealth of information gained in her travels, Rosemary opened her very own Charm and Etiquette School in 1994. This was her way of giving back to her community.
Eclectic Soul is located in Historic Downtown Easton on a quaint block of Millionaires Row, 124 N 3rd Street (between Spring Garden St. & Bushkill St.) to be exact. The mood: Walls smoothed with warm colored earth-tones amongst soothing lighting. Scented candles that whisper welcome as you grace the threshold - your senses awakened. An amazing collection of sweet tunes can be heard play in the background.
The space: Decorated with Fine Sterling Silver. One-of-a-kind jewelry, set with gemstones, fossils & minerals from around the world. And a “Show Stopping” handcrafted handbags collection that is unique, classic, and fashionable creating a lasting impression of bold and confident style. Their concentration is primarily on fashion accessories, but does not to exclude apparel showcased by a featured “Designer of the Month”.
