Easton Central Fire Station
Red Cross staff and volunteers along with the Easton Fire Department will be canvassing the neighborhood surrounding the Central Fire Station at 11 North 6th Street in Easton. Working in teams, we will install smoke alarms in homes that need them and teach residents how to be prepared in case a fire breaks out in their home. This effort is part of our Home Fire Preparedness Campaign which has the goal of reducing fire related injuries and deaths by 25% in five years – but we can’t do it alone.
We are looking for volunteers to help us! No special skills are necessary – all training will be provided. Adults and teens 16 and over are welcome. Groups are encouraged to wear attire displaying their group’s logo.
