Buttler Sticker Design Program
Program brought to you by the Easton Main Street Initiative Design Committee in collaboration with Easton Ambassadors
Our Buttler Sticker Design Program invites local artists and graphic designers to transform our downtown cigarette disposal stations* ("buttlers") into colorful, eye-catching pieces that celebrate our community and encourage responsible disposal. These black cylindrical stations are located throughout downtown Easton — let's give them some personality! This is a volunteer opportunity and a chance to leave your creative mark on downtown Easton.
*All cigarettes are collected by the Easton Ambassadors and recycled through TerraCycle
Program Requirements
Design Requirements:
Original designs only — no copyrighted images or AI-generated artwork
No business logos or commercial endorsements
Designs must be colorful and vibrant. Remember, these stations are black, so bold colors will make your design pop!
We’d like the design to relate to one or more of the following: recycling and environmental stewardship, cigarette litter awareness, or local Easton pride. However, this isn’t a hard requirement. Let your imagination run wild!
Submit your design as an Adobe Illustrator (.ai) file or ready to print PDF - If you would like to submit your design in a different form, please contact julie@eastonpartnership.org
Sticker dimensions: 3¼ in x 11¼ in — design to these exact specifications
Your sticker will be installed on both sides of the buttler. If you’d like to design a different version for the right and left sides, you are welcome to!
You are welcome to add your name, social media handle, or website to your sticker design
Submission Information:
Deadline to submit designs: April 28th, 2026
All designs will be reviewed and approved by the Easton Main Street Initiative design committee before printing
Approved designs will be printed as stickers and installed on buttlers throughout downtown
Expected installation date is May 15th, 2026
Important Notices:
Design approval: Not all submissions are guaranteed to be selected, the design committee has final say on all approved designs
By submitting, artists grant Easton Main Street permission to print and display their design on public installations
By submitting, artists grant Easton Main Street permission to credit them by name on the website and social media in connection with the approved design

Adopt a Cigarette Buttler
Help keep Easton's neighborhoods clean by adopting a Cigarette Buttler! Our Easton Ambassadors maintain more than 60 Buttlers throughout downtown, but we need community members like you to help extend this effort to blocks and corridors across the city. When you adopt a Buttler, we'll install it at your location and provide you with a key to empty it. And the best part? Cigarette butts collected through the program are recycled through TerraCycle, keeping them out of our streets, storm drains, and waterways for good.
