The Easton Farmers’ Market invites artists to submit original artwork that captures the essence of the market and conveys its mission to support sustainable agriculture and stimulate community revitalization. Themes may include: market scenes, agriculture and/or pastoral scenes, farm animals, produce, flowers, herbs, crafts and music. Artists are encouraged to visit the market often and paint or draw on site. All submissions will be auctioned on Sunday, September 15th at Nurture Nature Center, 518 Northampton Street. Three cash prizes will be awarded and one submission, “Spirit of the Market,” will be selected as the Market’s official poster design for 2014. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Easton Farmers’ Market, a registered 501c3 under the Greater Easton Development Partnership.
