Discover the ancient and captivating art of wet felting with contemporary fiber artist Mallory Zondag. In this workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to create your own unique wooly flowers while delving into the transformative process of sculpting fabric with wool, hot water, and olive oil soap using just your hands. Each registration not only includes the experience of crafting one flower for the community art wall at Easton Yoga but also provides you with the chance to take home your own creation. Additional kits for making more flowers can be pre-ordered for $35 each by emailing eastonyoga@gmail.com. Under Mallory’s guidance, you’ll learn the techniques of wet felting, how to shape organic forms, and how to layer wool to produce intricate floral designs. It’s a hands-on journey into the world of fiber art where you’ll explore the intersection of creativity, nature, and personal expression.
