Yoga For Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain
Fibromyalgia (and other chronic pain) can sometimes leave us feeling defeated and stuck in place. This workshop takes the “less is more” approach to yoga. We will start exactly where you are and move towards creating mobility and pain management in your life. Using very gentle postures, breath work, and guided imagery, you will leave with a plan to set you on the path towards reducing pain.
Amy Kirk has been managing her own fibromyalgia pain for years through the use of yoga and breath work. She has experienced setbacks from doing too much or pushing too hard, but also the relief that comes from a committed gentle practice. Amy hopes to create a safe, supportive, and healing environment for others experiencing chronic pain.
